A tax deferred exit strategy well suited for families and partnerships.

A UBP DownREIT is a tax deferred transaction that enables an owner with appreciated property to transfer assets without triggering a capital gain. The DownREIT structure provides flexibility for an individual partner/owner to liquidate an interest in a property at the time(s) of his/her choosing, while permitting other partners/owners to retain a cash flowing interest in the property and/or liquidate at other times.
